ok i have a sony explode and i was wondering if the light that is inside the amp the lil blue one is supposta stay on even thought the car is totally off??

im pretty sure you have to turn the amp off manually to turn the light off, otherwise it might be a capacitor keeping the electricity flowing.

ive never seen an amp that has the light on while the cap is off, but yet again there is a first for everything
unless you have it connected to a constant on by accident or something, then it would stay on

ohh well it will turn off if i take out the fuses on the amp but then i would have to plug them in when i wanna hear it idk its wierd getting a new amp ne ways soo ya

thats not good to do, it will wear it out
just double check how you have it connected

someone might have his wires crossed??? but i know people who run large capciter's that hold additional charge so lights dont dim out when there getting pulled over by the cops for having the stereo too loud. might be something like that with a faulty connection, or dun dun dun..something internal.

it depends on if your amp is visible....like my component amp is under my seat...not visible really
and my sub amp is on the back of my back seat...althought my seat is always folded down to keep it cool....but normally they couldnt see it

i built a small box about the size of my amp cut out a hole just small enough so the amp sits above the hole left 2 ends open and took the fan out of my old xbox so it stays cool
wired the fan straight off the amp so its on only when the amp is |
