Why do that? If its ran through the remote wire through the deck when you turn the deck off it will also turn anything hooked up through that remote wire and through the RCA outputs off.

there is the case where the remote output of the radio(cd player or ect.) can also be faulty and u need to check for 10 to 12 volts on the remote wire when car is off and KEY REMOVED. Just in case you didn't know, the remote wire is blue on the back of the radio.

Thumbs up Re: amp light

just about all decks today have 1 remote power wire if not 2 or 3. make sher of the wiring on the radio, if you cant tell me the make and model # of it and i will get you a wiring diagram. so you can undo the switch and hook it up correctly. mike

Exactly, set the fade to the front if you dont want to here the subs. I also have settings on my deck to turn off the subs. And whats the point of having them if you cant use them.
