For the past half a year, Ive felt a little unsatisfied with my car in terms of overall performance. Its about as fast as a C5 coupe, and handles like a lowered boat. So for now, all its got going for it is looks... or at least in my opinion.

To remedy this, ive thought of getting replacement TD04 turbos with larger compressor wheels and other bells and whistles, but Ive always wanted to bleed red ink and upgrade to a TD05. So the choice has been made, and Im going to be purchasing a set of MHI TD05-20G turbos, along with new exhaust manifolds and downpipe to commit myself to this project within the next two weeks.

With every expetation of something breaking, I have set a time line of when I will be purchasing certain parts, with the deadline set to May 1st to have my project complete.

Hopefully with enough motivation and support, Ill be able to pull this one together. Ill be posting new pictures and updates on what I am doing weekly, and hopefully you guys can enjoy the progress as it happens.

Im shooting for at least 500awhp with just turbos. I am definately going to raise that standard when i get into the engine. The suspension consists of just lowering springs at the moment, but will be upgraded to K-sport Coilovers when the turbos are put in. I just sent out the money for the turbos, so Im anxiously waiting their arrival, and then the pic-fest will begin! lol.

Turbos are a great feeling. I love the ones i have now, dont get me wrong. They have a quick spool and can hold 13psi to redline, but i want some more power! haha. I think im the only person i know that likes lag, and the way the boost creeps up, so I think the turbos I chose will be perfect for me.

Haha, I was planning on going with the 19Ts from the WRX as well, but decided to go with TD05 instead of TD04. Its a lot less money upgrading compressor wheels, but you'll never make over 550awhp... no matter how much engine work you do.

With the MHI Evo III 16G, people have made 450whp with just the turbos and light mods, so Im hoping that with everything Im doing, I can at least surpass 500 without major engine work.

bah... i was doing my usual 6k tune up on my car, and this time it included the changing of my spark plugs because my car has been running like complete crap recently. So, after spending around 45min getting everything ready and to quickly change all 6 plugs, i start pulling the wires, and the #1 wire completely fell apart

I had just ordered my turbos on monday (TD05-20G with the hot side ceramic coated and compressor side polished), and was saving up for the TD05 headers, but am forced to take an early dive and buy the MSD ignition system I wanted. I was planning on buying that part later down the list, but now its a priority to keep my car running.

The turbos should be ready pretty soon, but hopefully the MSD ignition will be here soon. Ill have pics next week of the progress so far.

man...ive been thinking of a mod for a single turbo with light boost for my benzo..as is im at 300hp/300 torque...with a turbo i can easly sit at 450 im thinkin and 380 torque...im not turbo literate yet and i know there is so much to consider first..so ill get back ta ya on this later man..untill then....i look forward to your mods being done
