ok well today after i got my hood on i took out my box and pulled the speakers out to see if i can get some info on em
only thing i got are some numbers...and i cant find anything on them
so if someone can help me that would be awesome
cause what i want to do is take that amp i got..the 1000 watter..and just run that straight to my subs...but im afraid it will blow them if they get too much power
but anyway..if someone can please find the specs for me...ill be your friend forever
heres the numbers i got

1 OMC1187 8 OHM
557 99-06-29

thats exactly how it looks on the sub
i think the last number is the serial number
and i think....THINK the model number is 557
but i dont know much about that stuff

do you know who the speakers are made by and how many channels is the amp and whos the amp by

I did a google search for almost every possible combo of the above numbers and no luck. From what I can see the last series of numbers is the date of manufacturing, its 8 OHMs and thats about it. Im thinking you probably cant run 1000 watts to them just because they are 8 OHMs. Most subs that are high powered like that are either going to be 4 or 2 OHMs because they have less resistance.

Is there like a name plate on them anywhere, because I know the Pioneer speakers have Pioneer on the tweets and also on the grills.

oh wow sorry i didnt notice i forgot that LOL
they are MTX subs
and yeah...the 1000 watter is 1-4 ohms
