Default older model repair

Hi everyone,

I'm new. Just trying to make contact with someone who can give me definite info on the fuel pump replacement for my 1977 Toyota pickup. Will the gas tank have to be removed?

I'm sure the pump's in the tank---so that means tank must be removed to replace, right?

on a truck yeah gotta drop the tank. On some cars (few) theres a cover you can take off from the inside to try and work it out. But for pumps in the tank its almost always easier to drop the tank
