I currently have a 1992 Mercury Capri with a blown engine. I would like to replace it with a engine that has more power and has aftermarket parts available. If it is possible I would like to just set it in and connect it with existing parts and wiring. Appreciate your advise

What engine is in your car stock? That'll help us better figure out what kind of options you might have.

Yeah, I would get a new platform unless you are stuck on the Capri.
That platform just isn't worth the time or effort as you will always be struggling with aftermarket support. |

Im not a DICK. I am just telling him the truth. So many people end up starting with a useless platform, and thousands of dollars later, it is still useless.
The number one thing to consider when building a car is the best platform to start with. |
