Default car problems

has anyone tried to rear mount a battery in a dsm. i tried it woul not let me do it i had everything hooked up and would get nothing. out the battery back in its orignal spot and it worked. went to go turn the car over and all i got was it trying to turn over. i have spark i have tested the coils and it has new wires and plugs, i checked the plugs anyway and they are still good. made sure the sensors were still pluged in. i can smell fuel.
whatits doing when i turn it over is its like its about to run but it keeps turning over.

I have no idea. My friend's brother did that and didn't have any issues. Might try PM'ing him on sacramento-dsm.com. His name is myAWDgst. Let him know that Rich told you to ask how Slobo hooked up his battery in the trunk.

check your alternator. make sure it's still good. it could be running directly off of the battery and killing it.

0 to -3? You have a vacuum leak. That should be reading around -14 to -16in/hg. Sometimes around -20in/hg

If you can get it to idle spray brake or throttle body cleaner around anywhere there might be an airleak i.e. t-body, vaccum hoses, ic pipes... you should be able to here the idle pick up when you find the leak. (Don't spray anywhere before the mass air sensor)
