My guess is that its a Type S. If it is its got 200HP stock. If its a 2005 or above and its a Type S its got 210HP stock. Headers are probably going to produce about 10HP, the CAI probably close to 15HP with the cams and headers, and the cams probably close to 50HP. They all compliment each other so each of the mods HP gains are based on the others. 280HP is probably pretty close.

Edit: I also forgot to add that he has a Hondata K-Pro ecu. Which is also going to compliment each mod he did.

That makes no sense what so ever, I hope you know. 200bhp-210bhp are completely different than 200fwhp-210fwhp. There's no way with those mods that he's putting down 280fwhp+ to the ground, especially on a naturally aspirated vehicle.

Show me the dyno graph of a cam that produced 50whp. I've never seen one. Not even from reputable companies like GSC, Crower, Jun, HKS, and Cosworth. With race gas in it and the proper tune, I'm sure he can do it... but not from pump and that little amount of mods.

If you missed it he has a K-Pro custom tuned ECU.

The GT2, GT3, XP, and XPZ cams all for the Grand Prix GT put out that much HP.

what are you smoking? so he tuned his A/F ratio and timing a bit on a N/A car. cams will not make that much power. you mean to tell me that on 91 octane (he's in CA and that's all we have unless you step into 100 octane or c16 race fuel), an exhaust, headers, CAI and tuning, and cams will produce 75whp from a naturally aspirated vehicle that puts at most 175fwhp to the ground on a cold day (granted i've seen about 9 RSX's dyno on a dyno jet dyno making only 152.4fwhp / 148.7lbft TQ with exhaust and intake on 91 octane pump gas) is going to make over 280fwhp? that just doesn't even add up.

here is a dyno graph of GSC S1 cams on an 06 Evolution IX with the following mods:

93octane pump gas
AMS Turbo Back Exhuast
AMS Front Mount IC
AMS Lower IC Pipe
AMS MBC
AMS ECU Flash
Blitz Drop In Filter
GSC Stage 1 cams for the EVO IX

that's a 14.08whp gain. utilizing a larger turbo such as a GT35R, the most whp seen was close to 40whp. That's utilizing a 268/266 combo. The GT35R is as big as your head. All of this from AMS in Arlington Heights who own and have built the world's fastest, quickest, and highest horsepower Evo's and DSM's.

show me a dyno graph utilizing SAE standard non correction with at most a smoothing of 3 (which happens to be the excepted setting for every major tuner showing power gains) that says your cams make 50whp on pump gas with exhaust and filter.

id have to agree, NA a cam isnt gonna give you a huge spike in power.. high compression or not.. 280 would be attainable with some spray.. let us know how the dyno goes man

280 is not realistic at all. He's only listing headers, cai, cams and EM. I would give him at most + 40 - maybe 50BHP. And you have to remember he didn't even list a exhaust.

Headers 10BHP (more if he had an exhaust)
CAI 10BHP
Cams 20BHP (not to familiar with it so I'm just guessing at this)
These are very very generous numbers
