Wow. The parts they make for that car suck. I thought they would have had better gains. I know the cams for a GPGT and the GPGTP are way better gains than that.

You have to remember, the GTP is a forced induction vehicle coming stock with a supercharger. When you start adding forced induction into the mix, numbers increase.
Ask any of the domestic guys who run superchargers, whether it came stock on the vehicle, or they beefed up the motor to support it. Also, most of the guys are going with the turbo kits. Big displacement, lots of torque help spool that turbo like crazy so you see significantly reduced spool times. I know a guy with a WS6 with a turbo on it. The moment he steps on the gas, he compares it to a SC with how fast boost comes on.

I would rather have a SC over a turbo kit. With the SC you dont have lag. But there is ways around it. But the differences in cams with the GPGT and the GPGTP with the XPZ cams require custom heads, valves, springs, and all that. Thats proabably another reason why they have more HP gain.

well the springs and retainers aren't going to do anything for horsepower. as far as "custom heads" and valves, you'll see a big difference when you port and polish the cylinder head and with the type of valves put in along with the type of valve job.

that's a lot of work just to put cams in if you ask me. springs and retainers are all it normally takes IF you want a higher redline.

I dunno much about port and polishing but i do know that it's a freak'n long process, and having to redo everything with new parts now that's pricy too. But then again i only work part time so that probably just seems expensive to me. But i have to agree with every body that he'll probably only get 240hp a little less/more.

I loved in GT how you can only do the stage 3 lighten and chassis stuff, after stage 1 and stage 2. hahaha

I also want to send out a thanks to everyone for calling me a liar and posting worthless dyno charts that in the end proved them wrong.

can't wait to see it, because it's still too unbelievable. Especially when I JUST had an 05 RSX-S with a GT35R roll into the shop just for a dyno, running 100 octane. 267.4fwhp/217lbft TQ.

That and calling AMS dyno charts worthless is like saying their drag car is slow and you can beat it. They are the builders of the world's highest HP and quickest evo's on the planet. they build dsm's, 240's, srt-4's and subies also. all of them are record setting and no joke.

I didnt say that. I said the charts were worthless for this topic since they didnt prove anything.
