k well right now im savin up for a new system
but i cant decide between these two subs
should i get

2 12" Rockford Fosgate P3's

or

2 13.5" JL Audio W3's?

their going to be running off a Memphis 1000 W Class D Mono Amp

which ones do u think will hit harder and stuff?

I've heard JL Audio are the best subs. I do know the amp is important, but I don't know my amps from my ants.

I would get some Kicker Solobaric L7's or a Kicker SoloX sub. They will out do either of those sets. But between the sets I would go with the RF P3's.

i went to circuit city and listened to the L5's....they sounded like shit
they sounded like they were falling part and crap
idk if it was just that one..but yeah

That wasnt the sub. It was the room they were in. No for real. It probably was just the sub. The guys at the roadshop probably dont know what they are doing and have to much power going to it and blew it or some idiot went in there thinking he knew what he was doing and cranked it to high and it wasnt getting the power it needed and they blew it and didnt tell anyone.

I have the junkiest subs ever and I made them sound good. You cant hear them from a mile away or anything, but if you sit in the car all the mirrors shake and the seats vibrate so Im happy. I dont want a system that attracts alot of attention.

Thats when it gets stolen. You could save money for mods by putting in just a mediocre system and spending the other $600 that it would cost for a security system on stuff like exhaust, resonator deletes, u-bend deletes, reflashed PCM, lower thermostat etc...

Also if you pay to get some nice professional window tint that will help keep your stuff safe since it will be harder for them to see.

thats why im worried...i have an ok system right now...its like yours..it vibrates a little bit an the mirrors move and stuff...but it cuts out a lot cause my amp is so small

i already have an exhaust...dont even know what the other stuff is your talking about lol

i have nice pro window tint..its legal all the way around..i wish someone would do it darker..but no one here will go past legal...so its gay

but yeah idk...i could use it on performance...and believe me i want to
but my system is pissing me off so bad...

Just upgrade the amp then and call it good. The other stuff I was talking about is all exhaust stuff. It deals with getting rid of the more restrictive parts of the exhaust system. Basically it means you get a 2.5"-3" pipe and weld it from the front of the cat back to the mufflers and get rid of the cat and all that junk. Its alot louder and it makes more HP and torque.

but my subs are old and weak...not worth puttin a new amp to
and idk if i would do that..my friend doesnt have a cat...and his car stinks and stuff
plus idk if i could pass emissions...
