No problem. The decription in my profile is not totally accurate. I put that in there before i had it all together and sure what i would have. It is actually about 2800 watts. Subwoofer amp-Rockford Fosgate 601s (early 2000-2002 model) same as the new T600-2(power series) they dont have a 2 channel 600watt(RMS) in the punch series anymore. Retail on that T600 is about 650. I got my 601s off ebay brand new in box for 150. Perfect amp for the P1 12's because the each P1 sub handles 150 rms. I have that amp bridged to one channel (running 4 subs off one channel mono) It is a crazy wiring setup but it is known as series parallel wiring. I'll include a diagram of that setup. 150 RMS for the 4 subs totals 600RMS. (the RMS rating of the amp) If you can help it, you dont want to go over the RMS for the subs. you want to match the RMS. Now the peak, wattage for all 4 subs is 300x4 would be 1200. The amps peak is 1800. And just to justify that that is a good setup, Rockford has told me in the past when i was asking questions and planning it that that is a very smart setup. The reason I went more on the peak is because when the subs are at their max power, the amp is too. When an amp is at max power, it clips. All that means is the amp running out of power and causes the audible distortion through the speakers. So, I went more peak on the amp so when the subs are at there max potential, the amp isn't running out of power. But keep in mind that the peak rating on subs is for a short period of time and in this case they are not designed to run at 300watts peak for any long period of time. The peak power is just the amount of power it can sustain for a short period of time without damaging the voice coil (that is inside the magnet, cant really see it) The voice coil WILL literally BURN! I will also attach a picture of a burnt voice coil. Once it's burnt, that sub is toast. time for new ones. That is just my subwoofer system. That was a long explanation, but hopefully i covered everything for you. Anymore questions, I'm here and i will have that video up later today! have a good one!

Actually its not much more than 2k everything added up retail value. It's about 2400 after all the wiring, capacitors, building the box and all. But I actually only paid about 800 for everything. EBAY!!!!! Just the sub system is about 1200 with amp and all. But for a worth of 1200, this system will beat most systems on the street. The model number for the subs I have is P112S4. That is the 2005 series model number, now it is P1S412. Same thing just switched around. Anything else just ask

wow lol
thanks ![]() why are you running a multichannel amp on subs...i thought a monoblock was better? at least that is what i have been told.. oh....and if i ever do get a system...should i just get P1's? or get like p2/p3's?

If you dont want to run the cost up alot, go with the P1's just 2 of them sound great, but the more the better lol. It doesnt matter if it is a multichannel or a mono since most amps put out the same RMS power in 2 channel as it will in one channel bridged. My 601s is 600 watts RMS @4ohms bridged mono. But it will put out 300RMS on both channels at 2 ohms stereo so 300 +300 is 600. As long as the ohm load and the watts match up, it doesnt matter if you have a 2 channel bridged to a mono or if you just have a mono!
