Default Swaybar help

Okay i have a rear upper sway bar that needs to go into the trunk, but i have no clue as to where? I have to cut some carpet to find the nuts to screw my sway bar to, but i have no idea where the nuts are at or where to cut. Can somebody help me out here?

Whoops! You right the first time. I meant to say strutbar instead of sway. Do you think you can find me pictures as to where you put it? I pulled down the carpet but i can't figure out where to attach it.

the rear strutbar is :

1. under your rear cargo hatch cover / trunk cover
2. next to the shocks that come up from your rear suspension
3. there should be 2 humps behind your rear seat

good luck!

Hey man. Are you talking about a upper strut bar like this in the trunk? http://my.prostreetonline.com/photos...php/photo/4425

If so, here's what your going to have to do (mine is a 98 hatchback):

first, you'll have to remove the rear 6x9 speakers and covers. then next, you'll have to loosen and remove the upper strut mount bolts. then we'll need to cut away a little piece of your interior piece, so the link can bolt up to the strut mounts. then you have to tighten the bolts back to the top of the strut, thread the bar in the link, and repeat it for the other side.

Does that make sense?
