I would say honestly its one of those preference things. Turbos run off exhaust as we all know. But they also put less strain compared to a S/C how ever the S/C offers much lower under the hood temps. I vote Turbo over S/C mostly because of the old problems which im sure arn't as bad these days but S/C's put a lot more strain on your crank because the belt has to be really tight (or used to) which pulled the front up some causing the crank bearings to wear faster. so it meant having to go in and replace them a lot sooner. I'm not sure thats still the case but its a mental image sorta thing for me.

lots of people turbo v8s.......
i would turbo a v8 because of the displacement you already have the lower end torque, and superchargers become increasingly inefficient higher in the rpm range where as thats where turbos peak.

Takes all sorts of people to make up a world, but the only people who have an opinion that matters are the ones with the car and the money.

humm...well superchargers for take off if your doing a light to light street bashing id say...and turbo or twin sisters for tuning where high rpm power is needed..allso ya might get rid of the turbo lagg with a twin sister set up...i was thinking of modding my 5.6 liter v8 with a twin set up for my lower gears..dunno thou.

a BOV on a Mustang? not new to me. one of my former supervisors had a 07 Mustang with a Procharger Centrifugal S/C kit, and he had a BOV right next to the intercooler.
