fwd stage 1 from tre is 1000 but you got to get a tranny to send to them. then you to run all your clutch line. set up the pedal by the time you get it to manual you will have to much in it.

of course depending on "blew up" its will need to be replaced or rebuilt. Replacing price depends on how much you find a replacement for. then figure a few hundred of labor tax blah blah. Rebuilding might save you a little money but i doubt very much. the labor to take apart and rebuild trans are pretty high unless you know some one. But it would be rather expensive and a pain to swap to a 5speed. But yeah i want to do a trans swap to the Fiero too so

its not worth it, maybe if you had the know how and the parts already but since you dont, dont bother. would be way easier to sell the eclipse and buy one with a manual. and dont let your sister diagnose any car problems, but if it did need a new trans id put it at 1-2 thousand.

rebuilding my tranny and reinforcing and heat coating its internals cost me $2000 and my core. Along with the 225 drop and 225 install fee. Add the $600 clutch, and you're over 3 grand... but this is for high perf. parts, so i doubt it would be that expensive. Id give you about 1700 for a new auto installed, but dont quote that

It is going to cost quite a bit to convert it to manual. You have to change everything and like others have said, run hydraulic clutch lines, the clutch itself, cut the firewall and all that, plus putting in the shaft for the shifter, you're looking at alot of money and time. Even more if you have it done by someone. Factory auto tranny, few hundred bucks at a junkyard. Just make sure everything within a foot or so around the tranny is in good condition to make sure the tranny itself hasnt been damaged. Maybe even less than a few hundred.
