I just bought some intake cams from a TSI and are planning on putting them into my N/T Talon. want to know if anyone has done that and how hard is it. is it worth haveing a mechanic do it.

chances are if you have to ask then you should probably have a mechanic do it, it requires taking the valvetrain apart, not to mention the cam gears and timing belt. lots of stuff to line back up and whatnot and then reset timing. i havent done it so i dont know completely but i understand all the work in question and IMO would be a pita

thanks, i probably would have enede up taking it to a machanic anyway, but i was just woundering. i need a new timing belt any way so its probably better i take it to some to get done. do you know of anyone who has put turbo cams into a non turbo? if so about how much did it help?
