75k or 75 as in... not broken in yet

Brown smoke? not Blue-tinted or white.. or any other common color? I don't even know what the hell causes brown smoke.. I think magnesium burns brown.. or some wierd metals.. I've got nothing.

brownish smoke is rather odd i admit.. but still any smoke at eather of those two miles is pretty bad. I supose if it was black smoke and it disbursed a little by the time you saw it it might be brown or black and white smoke.. Black is to much fuel. white is coolant.. not sure if this helps any....

never seen brown smoke before. and it could be a mix of black and white(dont know how it could get brown). check your head gasket about all can think of.

I'm going to assume it's running rich. That's perfectly fine.

Brown could be mistaken for black... I guess. It's most likely nothing serious, as headgasket would be white smoke, which would be harder to mistake for brown.

Could be burning oil, which would be a bluish/black color.

I'd do a compression check on the motor, just to be sure.
