Default System or new engine?

k
well heres the deal
i can get me a 13.5 inch JL W3 for about 300 bucks
then i need a new amp....which would be about 5-600 for a good one
then tax and installation and all that fun stuff
so total it would be somewhere around 1200-1300 probably

well i can also do a LS engine and like a B16 head or somethin for about 800
that would give me about 180 HP i would think...not too bad for 800 bucks
then i could do some more stuff and build the engine up
i want to get a more powerfull engine...but i dont want a really heavy engine
the h22 would be nice...but their heavy and expensive..
but i cant decide what i should do

should i get a new system that would be pretty dang powerful
or should i save the money and get a new engine?
and if you think i should get the engine, which route? the LS with B16...or a better/different one?

plz let me know

PS. im gettin my tint tommorow...wewt

Didn't you say this car was temporary until you have money to get something better???? IF that's still the case I would go with the system if you're going to keep the car for the long haul-I say motor.

umm. well you mention you were getting a new car. thats what i was going to do. but instead of spending the 10k on a new car i put 10k into the motor. why buy new when you can make that civic kill anything with that 10k into it. i personally would go with that motor for $800 beans thats a damn good deal even if it aint got the 180hp... thats my opinion.

Yeah I say go with the B16 motor. Take the money and turbo it, and you won't regret it. Plus the extra you money you save from buying the B16 instead of H22 is pretty darn good. And dang $800? That's nice! H22's are still between $1600 to $2800 that's average. (I know you may get cheaper H22's, but what are your chances right?)

and besides if you get that motor you can get the system later so the motor can actually pull the system and move it along...just joking... still go with the motor

lol ok
yeah h22's are expensive as heck
but that would be so nice to have
ive seen em for like 2500 - 3000
but thats not including suspension and new motor mounts and everything

how much you think it would cost to ship an engine here from japan?
my friend over there can get stuff for REAL cheap

To ship another engine from Japan would cost about $600-$1500. That's probably the cheapest and that's very slow shipping, more if you want faster shipping.

omg...this is lookin so good right now
http://www.jazzproparts.com/ProductD...oductCode=H22A
i have a question

why are b16's and b18's so much more than a h22...when h22's are more powerful
just cause h22's are more common? or is there a reason?
