acura 1990 LS 2 door coupe

tried motor flush many times, problem; ticking sound coming from back top of vavle cover, acura dealer told me that the oil pump never gives out... need to know if I have to take oil pan out to check pickup screen and check "o" ring to pickup screen ...also, when coming off freeway oil light blinks off and on...after motor flush sometimes, ticking goes away about two months then comes back...PLEASE HELP... also the car does not lose any power, runs great....

u might need a lash adjustment man.. try that first

was told awhile ago that this type of car (1990 acura LS 2 door coupe) engine 2.7, can't be adjusted??? really confusing...( vavle adjustment) also, is a valve adjustment an a lash adjustment the same thing????..... HELP ...
