drag racing is really huge where i live, if u don't have at least a 12 sec car you are considered slow

I have a 12 sec car but like Brat I'm not into drag racing or any kind of american racing. American racing is boring IMO...you either go straight or just make left turns. I know some nascar races are actually on road courses but still not the same for me. I like the touring car, formula one, WRC, drift racing...etc. There is nothing like heel toeing, power shifting or controlling your oversteer through a turn. I find drag racing is just about your launch and timing whereas the road course racing includes the same but also line choice, braking...etc.

mine the fastest it has gone is 15.0 in the 1/4 mile

no numbers yet, gonna be slow though. I like everything except drifting and nascar. drifting seems like an awful waste of tires when you could just, ya know, go around the corner normally. and nascar is like watching highway traffic. i like formula 1 and touring.

im actually starting to get into it, i used to hate nascar but its growing on me as im starting to appreciate the skill and strategy involved. plus the ends of the races are freakin intense. top fuel and funny cars are sweet to watch but only in person, i think drag is boring as hell on tv.

it doesn't matter to me.... if it involves power and performance and cars i love it.... except nascar. i respect nascar drives but watching a bunch of cars drive in a circle FOREVER just isn't entertaining to me... i'd rather watch my dog lick his ass.

and wow! did this thread get off topic or what?

i don't have a car at the moment and my dads sunfire and my moms chrysler LHS are both slow so no quick cars here

No racing is really big here. Except MotoX and I race that!

I used to be into NASCAR but when they moved races to Saturdays nights, I stopped all support of that. Local tracks don't need that kind of competition.

I'm pretty hardcore into dirt oval racing.
