does anyone know if the HKS speed limit defencer will work on my car? or anything else, i keep hitting the limiter and its driving me crazy. the tech support at HKS is pretty incompetent, there answer when i asked if it would work in my car: ugggghhhhhh....we deal mainly with imports.

its set there for a reason, tauri, lol, arent supposed to go very fast

lol excuse me i meant i keep hitting the limiter when i race. my car is very stable, smooth and controllable at 110, but i'm only at 4000 rpm's and i think my car is capable of about 130 or more. but when i get new rims i'm getting tires with a higher speed rating.

don't worry people i'm not gonna kill myself lol

lol we're crazy like that, capitals are fun. well the only gadgets i know of are by HKS and by JET, but JET won't work on my car supposedly. time to surf the net, just hope i can remove it without the check engine light comming on.

yup, no such taurus forums. i'll have to do some wire mapping and signal analysis this summer and hopefully figure it out myself.

i got a question where are you racing at? and it dont matter how good and stable your car is. remember this shit happens tires blow other people drive on the roads dont matter if you think its a road no one else knows about people do know about it. the only way to fix it is remove your govenor. get a repair manual for your car see the possible codes and the find it rip it out. i've never had to remove one cause ive never had one on any of my cars except my dads blazer which i cant touch.

thanks for checking , i never came across those when i searched. they are just a bunch of repair forums there though, very few people modding. i'll post some questions in them though and i can answer a ton of there questions in them.

where do i race? on straight streches of highway at about 3 in the morning when its not populated. track isn't open yet.
