actually your trunk is normal, but it just has two hinges and u take out the bolts that hold the trunk to ur bars. and then it just pivots down. i have pins on the inside of the trunk that keep it open

well for me i didnt buy the kit, i custom made it myself. I just went out and got some hinges and drilled it accordingly and attached them. They have trunk kits on ebay, called flip flop trunk kits, or suicide trunk kits, you might me able to find them on yahoo search. i didnt feel like paying all that money for it, so i did it myself and it came out perfect. and my original trunk brackets worked just fine. i could post an upclose picture of it if u want. so u can see the difference from regular standing and flipped position.

im sorry to hear that. I wouldnt waste my money on those, Im just a kind of guy that will do it myself, so i dont get screwed over. I would just plan it out and custom make u a flip trunk. its not hard at all, and i can show u the pics up close so u can see what ur supposed to do.

im not very "make it myself" if ya know what i mean my dad might be able to whip somethin up but i hate it when he helps me with my car...hes not to careful about things |
