Hmmmmmmm..... not really sure, i think i just never stopped liking them after the "car phase" as a kid, but Fast and the furious really amplified it. Even though i look back and think dam i cant believe i used to think this movie was badass lol.

I was playing NFS 2 SE while in my car phase as a kid... I was about 6 or 7, and owned almost 5000 hotwheels toy cars. I would build tracks out of legos to "race" the cars with my brother. I also collected all the tracks that hotwheels made and built a huge "super track" out of like 12 different sets.

lol i used to steel my brothers hot wheels cars since my mom would only buy me barbi's as a kid. i've been into cars since i can remember. i would help my dad change the oil in the cars. hell my dad told me how to drive a 5 speed when i was 9 or 10 and we had a miata.

ive always had a thing for cars
my dad always fixes our cars minor problems
but 2 of my neighbors are mechanics
my one neighbor has built himself corvettes and mustangs and some other nice cars
my uncles are into things with cars too
idk...ever since i can remember ive always loved cars

Ive been into cars my whole life. when i was born my dad had a 9 sec or so monte carlo and i would go to the track with him. f&f got me into imports.

I think my dad was hoping for a son...so I guess I got to do double duty as a daughter and son

When I was little my dad would teach me the make and models of various cars, and then quiz me on them when we were out and about. Then when we moved to AZ in 95 we met a nice family who our family became friends with. My dad became close friends with the husband of the family named Gar and Gar became like my own uncle, I even called him Uncle Gar. Gar happened to own a garage specializing in Subarus and raced super lates at the local track. My dad would always take me to the races on Saturdays and I would buy little matchbox cars at the track to play with and we'd watch Gar race.

Eventually, having a car lover in my Dad and then my "uncle", I got hooked. Gar also gave me the Impreza, and that's why I love Subaru's. Unfortunately he died last February, so i will never sell the Ru, and am going to school for mechanics and know Gar would be proud.
