Best amp company?

k well i went to an audio store today for shitz and giggles
they had 1 JL audio 13.5 inch sub runnin off a 1000w JL audio mono amp
the 1 sub shook the whole god damn store
so i know im gettin those subs
but he said the 1000w amp is going to be like 600 bucks

isnt there another company that would have a really good amp for cheaper?
i want at least a 1000w MONO amp

i saw like hifonics and stuff on ebay for cheap
can i trust that?

just give ur opinions plz and possibly places to look

IMO JL is the best. If your going to drop the cash for the 13.5 (13W3v3 right??) get a JL amp. I have used an eclipse amp in the past and its ok but after I upgraded to my JL im not going to change back.

One of the only companies that has there specs almost down to the exact number is Pioneer, but if you need that much power then you going to have to go with a bigger name. Pioneer really only deals with the basics.

i saw like a 2000 watt AUDIOBAHN amp on ebay for like 400
can i trust getting something like that off of ebay??????
and is audiobahn a good brand????

600 bucks ain't shit for a good amp.

please don't buy cheap stuff that's not what you want and have to replace too soon anyway.

well ive read a lot of reviews from other people on the net on other sites who said its a really nice amp

i dont want to be spending 2-3k for a amp and a sub
im not lookin for competition quality or anything
just something that will hit hard when i want it to

my friend bought a 100 dollar amp that was advertised as a 600 watt amp, i tried telling him that was bullshit and that even if it put out that much it was all distortion at that point he didnt listen and it burnt out in a week lol

lol my friend has a 1000 watt audiobahn amp and a 10" sub...it hits pretty hard and has lasted him a long time

Pioneer is name brand. Its up there with Fosgate, Infinity, JBL, Kicker, and Audiobahn.
I wouldnt buy anything but Pioneer speakers. Every set of speakers I have had from Pioneer outperform all of my friends subs. And they dont buy cheap stuff.
