Question Truck wont start

I have a 1986 GMC S15 6cyl 2.8L. It has trouble starting after being driven on short trips. It seems that there is no fuel getting through the injectors. But if you let it set for 1/2 hour or so it will start right up and run just fine.

I don't think it is the injectors or filter. Would the fuel pump cause this type of problem?

if your pump is going out you could tell be listening. when it doesnt turn over you wont hear it. try that. but defintly do your filter because its recommed that when you cahnge your pump to change your fuel filter.
good luck

first of all please dont call it a truck just because it has a bed on it because it cant hual shit, and my cars motor is bigger than that. anyway probably the fuel pump which is in the tank so empty your tank and pull it off. make sure you disconect all hoses and electrical connections then pull the pump out and replace it.
