Default Removing sentra oil pan

Thank you for this forum. Maybe someone can answer me a oil pan question. When removing the oil pan from a Nissan Sentra DXE, Would I also need to remove the exhaust system right under the pan? It seems I can remove the screws on the pan then slide it out towards the passenger side and not remove the exhaust underneigh it.

Any response from your part will be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, usually you need to remove the exhaust because you need to lower the pan low enough to clear the oil pickup which is usually about an inch from the bottom of the pan.

def. need to drop the pipes. oil pan cant clear the pickup or crank w/ the pipes under it. youll waste more time fighting w/ it than just removing thr pipes to start w/
