You helped me figure out I have a gutless wonder the d17a1 w/115 hp
 any tips or tricks to get more power out of them this is my fist time owning an import I dont know much about them.  :

For the guy that is new with imports
I would recommend that you just go all out and buy a b16 b18 k20 or even an h22 with transmission and all necessary parts needed to do a swap and get one huge differance in HP. This is not technically legal but you can also hallow out your catalytic converter and even remove your resinators it will help a lil. But if your talkin alot of horsepower and fast just do the swap you can sell your current motor for a lil bit of money and buy the swap for around 1500 to 3500 dollars depending on what you would like to spend. Oh and buy the way good luck with everything that you hope to do. Its a long and hard process to get it fast enough.
