im just curious to know if anyone here has used the G Tech sport. its the monitor that you hook into your cig. lighter and it tells you 1/4 mile times. just curious if it works. i was thinking of getting one for our car club, if it worked

it both works and is accurate. the thing is, it's accurate in the sense you can measure gains before and after mods. it's inaccurate in the sense of the actual number....

basically... its a better gauge of how you do before and after as opposed to "this is how fast i am now"

I own one of these things. I think that the actual numbers shown are a little hazy, but the before and after results would be accurate as a percentage, just like any dyno. I wouldn't go boasting that my car had 'X' rwhp, because my G-Tech told me, but that I got an 'X' percaentage gain by doing something.
