i have a stage 1 pcm in my srt4. my problem is the ignition timing. i wanted to know what kind of advance or retard the stage 1,2 and 3 have on them. i think my car has moved passed the stage 1 with the addition of the gt35r. any thoughts? or specs on the pcm's?

i was looking around yesterday. and i couldnt find out much without actually calling mopar. which i have not done yet. i do beleive that there is an ignition timing diffrence in all three stages of the mopar pcm's. i guess the other option would be to call an after market company like jet. i think they will make "special" order chips for tuned cars. still looking into it though. i will post more info when i get it. ask your buddy if he is having a metallic rattle in the upper end of the motor during cold starts. talk to you later. dssrt4

i have some news. the pcm in the srt is locked up tight. when it comes to adjusting the ingnition timing or fuel maps. they are set. i can play with emanage all day long but it keeps pulling the a/f ratio is always about 14:1 or 14:5. you can try to adjust the timing through the computer but let me know if you figure it out. its locked up. the only timing you can adjust is manually at the cam gears. im still playing with that. i would suggest upgrading the pcm. i think the only diffrences in the ingnition timing are set at the factory and will not change. still trying diffrent things though -dssrt4
