BLOX Competition Series Clutch Master Cylinder FAQ
What does this part do for me? – The BLOX Competition Series Clutch master cylinder uses a S2000 clutch master cylinder as the base. BLOX punched out the internal piston of this cylinder to 21mm, which increases pedal pressure.
This means when you press down on your clutch pedal, your clutch fork is getting that much more pressure. This ensures positive clutch disengagement and allows you to shift your transmission faster.
Not only that but the clutch pedal throw is decreased by 45%, which makes engagement that much faster. What you get as a result is a low-cost method to improve your times and make your car faster.
Will the BLOX Competition Series Clutch master cylinder work with my clutch? – It’s compatible with stock and aftermarket clutch kits, and is designed for hydraulic transmissions only.
Do I need the S2000 clutch master brace? – Although it’s not required, it’s a good idea. Using this brace minimizes damage to your firewall. This is especially important if you’ve converted your Honda from automatic to manual transmission.
The BLOX Competition Series Clutch master cylinder is an excellent choice for drag race applications as well as road racing vehicles. It’s also a perfect compliment for short throw shifters and it’s designed to meet or exceed OEM Honda specifications.
