There’s been quite a bit of buzz around the 2018 Ford Fiesta, and now thanks to SpiedBilde the first Ford Fiesta spy shots have surfaced. The new Ford Fiesta has been an exciting addition to Ford’s stable and makes good use of the Ecoboost technology. Due for sale early in 2017, the Fiesta has a host of upgrades planned from Ford.

From the outward appearance in these Ford Fiesta spy shots, there’s quite of visual upgrades to the hatchback. When you combine the upgrades to the fit and finish of the Fiesta, it’s easy to see the attraction from Ecoboost lovers.

These upgrades to the 2018 Ford Fiesta will look to create more room in their offering. This allows Ford to release the all new Ka+ which will be another addition to the sub-compact market that’s looking to heat up of late.

According to most reports, the all new Fiesta will front a new fascia and complete redesign up front. In these Ford Fiesta spy shots you can make out a sharper front grille and slimmer headlights.

Along with a wider track, the new Ford Fiesta also has quite a few upgrades in the interior. With new upholstery replacing the rubbery sections from generations past, the new hatchback will also get a host of new infotainment features. Larger touchscreen and the latest update to Ford’s SYNC 3 gives customers a new way to enjoy their Fiesta.

Ford has also included a new suite of safety measures for the all new Fiesta. What you can’t see in these Ford Fiesta spy shots is the upgrades to lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition as well as blind spot monitoring.

On top of all these upgrades, Ford is also expected to lower the cost of the lower trims of the Fiesta. The Studio and Style versions of the Fiesta may be discontinued for a more streamlined offering. This changes the base cost of the 2018 Ford Fiesta to about $18,000.

Ford has been upping their game in the performance market, and the arrival of the Fiesta and Focus have been well received. So well in fact the Focus is already an Internet star for it’s appearance in Ken Block’s Gymkhana series.
