The mass air flow sensor in your 3.5 liter Infiniti G35 is a big part of your fuel injection system. Mounted onto your air induction box, the Infiniti G35 MAF sensor reads the incoming air charge and analyzes it. The Infiniti Engine Computer Unit or ECU uses this information to efficiently operate the 3.5 liter engine.

Over time your mass air flow sensor can become clogged or dirty, or even fail completely. When this happens you’re going to have a serious issue with your engine idle, and a lack of power. Your Infiniti Check Engine light will also be triggered ON, and you’ll need a OBDII scan tool to properly retrieve this code.
