Ken Block and the team at Monster Energy will be kicking off another chapter in the legendary Gymkhana series tomorrow morning, making it the most anticipated Monday since…. well, never.
You’d have to be living under a rock to not know these awesome series of drift videos, with our personal favorite being Gymkhana 5. Call us homers but we love the local Bay Area flavor with the drifting sequences throughout San Francisco.
Gymkhana 7 promises to be even more epic, with reports that this drift Mustang took over 2 years to complete. The 1965o Mustang RTR nicknamed the “Hoonicorn” has been seen in the preview videos, and we’ve covered at up close at this year’s 2014 SEMA auto show.
Built by the team at AS Motorsports in North Carolina, this Mustang is a 845 all-wheel drive monster that promises to tear up the streets of Los Angeles in Gymkhana 7. We’ll have even more coverage and information on this awesome build later in the week.
We’ve got some leaked footage of Gymkhana 7 below for you!
